Gone Dotti is a gift shop with a difference, specialising in unusual and eclectic handmade items you won’t find everywhere! A feast for your eyes & a friendly smile will greet you when you come through our doors. We see ourselves as providing a stage for local artists to display and market their incredible wares.  A total community experience can be enjoyed, where we try to bring the artist and the customer together via their stories. Many of our customers feel confident to drop in on their way to an event, choose a fabulous gift, have it gift wrapped and go straight to that event with a unique present in hand. We feel that our passion for handmade items fills the shop with positivity.  Each item tells a story about its creator and these stories are what connect the customer to the local artist. The Gone Dotti experience is also a fabulously fun one

Who has Gone Dotti?
Gone Dotti on Latrobe started in August 2008 with a dream to create a sense of community involvement and encourage talented people to sell their unique hand crafted inspirations. My name is Megan but some people call me Dotti... If you look at the meaning of Dotti in the dictionary you will find it means:·very enthusiastic or infatuated  ·amusingly eccentric or·unconventional.... I am very enthusiastic about handmade items and their individuality. I love to share the artist’s stories with the customer and this ensures that the gift is filled with a community spirit. For many years my creative outlook has been painting and recovering other people’s rejected items and redesigning them into treasures.  I love to find discarded things and make them beautiful. I love to paint anything that doesn’t move! I am passionate about hunting down different, handmade items.  This gave me the inspiration to open a shop that provided an outlet for others to do the same. It never ceases to amaze me how clever our artists are! I love to sell inspirational, eclectic handmade gifts, and provide a platform for small independent artists to sell and display goods that are handmade with love, laughter and passion.
